Impossible Dialogues is an art project which aims to discover unexpected connections among paintings from any moment of history of art: places and saints are taken out of the usual context in which they reside, to be combined together.

It’s a collection of relations among works of art, regardless of the art movement they belong to, and the artist who realized them. This is possible freeing ourselves from the academic idea that paintings can be read looking at the sacred space of their own frame, or in relation to other works of that period. With Impossible Dialogue this dogma is broken: any painting can be potentially compared to any other, seeing art history as one continuum, the evolution of a whole, rather than crystalized moments, bringing to anyone’s eyes correlations which otherwise couldn’t be discovered.
